Many references to mothy's other work, The Evillious Chronicles, are made throughout Torture Tower Doesn't Sleep.

Josephine shares its name with Riliane's favorite horse.
Stella's Bar serves Blood Grave wine, which was created by Banica Conchita.
Torcia Tower has a hidden passageway located inside a fireplace, similarly to how the Lucifenian Palace had one inside the fireplace in Riliane's room.

Père Noël was a criminal organization lead by "Julia Abelard", whose true form was a red cat.

Luna Ruth shares her first name with the character Luna Hazuki.
Amo tells the story of the selfish princess and her servant. He even goes on to call Rack a princess, while referring to himself as a servant, referencing the song The Servant of Evil.
Rack gets beheaded by a guillotine, like how "the princess" was at the end of the Lucifenian Revolution.
Amostia shares their name with a boy created by Seth Twiright.
Hereditary Evil Raiser was a genetic condition from the Second Period.
